The following post is a fantastic eye opener into the life and times of a preacher.  If your preacher does not resemble Apollos, I would certainly question why.  Does he have a command of the Bible, evangelical spirit, strength in the preaching of the Word, courage to proclaim the Gospel to those withing his purview, willingness to continue learning and studying the scriptures?  So many so called preachers today are willing to compromise and capitulate to the whims of society and the "members" of their church so as not to "rock the boat".  What a pity!

Christ did not apologize for His teachings; God did not waver in his word.  Why do we tolerate it in our "ministerial" staff? 

If we do not take a stand for the Word of God, then we stand for anything and everything and yet we stand for nothing.  May God help those in a position of authority in the local church stand for what is right and true, according to the Word of God!.
